Neil BroereUnfold Bible
A brand, a website, and a steady flow of content for a Bible app built to help people study God's Word.

Neil Broere is a teaching pastor and the founder of Unfold, a Bible app for iPhone, iPad, and Android. He wanted one place where a reader could open a chapter and find everything needed to understand it: the original Hebrew and Greek, trusted commentary, a reading plan that keeps going, and room to write. Legacy Co. built the brand, the website, the email journey, and the content that brings people in, and we worked on the app from its first version.
The Brand
We designed the logo from scratch. The mark is an open book whose pages fan out in layers, a quiet picture of Scripture opening up over time. It pairs with a heavy Archivo Black wordmark and the line "Scripture Revealed in Time." We built a full suite: the mark alone, a stacked wordmark, a tagline lockup, and versions in a calm green, warm cream, copper, sky, and sage. The same pieces carry from the app icon to the website to every social post.
The Website
The site at unfoldbible.app makes one clear promise: "The only app you'll ever need to study God's Word." Under it, the page walks a visitor through what the app does, in plain language:
- Deep Dive: commentary notes inside the text, original-language tools, and context for all 66 books.
- Transform: new study videos every Wednesday, a Monday forecast, and a Sabbath reflection.
- Ongoing: a reading plan that never ends, cycling through Scripture so passages begin to speak to each other.
A short welcome video from Neil sits near the top, so visitors meet the person behind the notes before they download. In his words on the page: "Every tool is intentionally designed to help you understand what you're reading without overwhelming you with clutter."
The Content
An app like this needs a steady voice outside the app, so we built the content system alongside it:
- Onboarding emails: a six-part welcome series that introduces one feature at a time, from the reading plan to word studies to the journal, plus messages for new subscribers and trials.
- Word studies: animated Hebrew and Greek words that draw themselves stroke by stroke, traced from the real letterforms and set as ready-to-post cards.
- Social: launch reels, carousels, captions, and a weekly rhythm built around Neil's "One Thing I Noticed" videos.
- Listings: Unfold profiles on app directories, so people comparing Bible apps can find it.
Outcome
Unfold now has a brand that looks the same everywhere it shows up, a website that explains a deep product in a few seconds, and a content engine that keeps teaching after the download. Every piece points back to Neil's goal: helping people understand what they're reading, one chapter at a time.
