Kate HendricksonSloSold.com
Live MLS listings, a map, and past sales, built into a Central Coast agent's new site.

For several years we have worked with real estate agents and brokerages, designing their websites and, more and more, building the back ends and systems that work behind them: listings, IDX and MLS feeds, and the pages that put real homes in front of buyers. SloSold.com is a good example of that second kind of work.
Kate Hendrickson is a broker associate who sells homes across San Luis Obispo County, from Paso Robles to Pismo Beach. For her new website, we partnered with designer Jenna Dee, who designed the site. Our part was the listings: we connected the site to the MLS and built the listing pages around how Kate wanted people to browse, so the site shows real homes, kept current, without anyone typing them in by hand.
The Brief
Kate knew what she wanted, and she said it plainly. For listings, in her words: "Visually appealing, only needs one initial picture, and general specs and price right up front." Past sales should look like her active listings. And, in her words, "It would be cool if they can display my current listings on a map, too."
She also wanted people to search lightly, not dig through a portal. So the job was less about piling on features and more about keeping things simple.
The Listings
We brought the MLS feed into the site and shaped it into a few clear pages:
- Local Property Search sits right on the home page. County, price, beds, baths, and go.
- Featured Listings shows Kate's own homes on a map beside clean cards, one photo each, with price and specs up front.
- Recently Sold uses the same cards, so her track record reads like a portfolio, not a spreadsheet.
- Full search is there for visitors who want to look across the whole county.
Because the listings come straight from the MLS, they stay current on their own, and nobody has to retype a home into the site.
Outcome
SloSold.com's listings now work the way Kate does: local, clear, and easy to reach. Buyers can browse real homes in the towns she serves. Sellers can see what she has sold before they call. It is the kind of system we keep building for agents and brokerages: listings that stay current on their own, inside a site that looks like the agent, not the portal.
