Legacy Creative Co.The Imprint Assessment
A free 20-question assessment that shows founders where who they are and what they build have drifted apart.

Most creatives are building the wrong thing first. They pour effort into a logo, a site, a launch, before they are clear on who they are and what they are called to carry. The Imprint Assessment is our answer: a free, 5 to 7 minute check that measures that gap and points to an honest next step.
The Framework
The assessment is part of Brand Discipleship, the framework behind our work. It asks 20 questions across four pillars, worked from the inside out:
- Imprint: Do I understand and value what God placed in me?
- Mountain: Am I operating from God's perspective or the world's pressure?
- Inner World: Am I letting God shape what's beneath the surface?
- Overflow: Does what I create flow from God's presence or external pressure?
Each pillar is scored out of 25 and marked Anchored, In Motion, or Emerging. The four pillars are also the four facets of the Imprint, the fingerprint mark at the center of the framework.
The Questions
A mirror only helps if you can't pose for it. Early testers told us some questions felt like they had a right answer, and when we checked, most items were easy to agree with. So we rewrote all 20. In the current version, 12 are worded so that agreeing points to a gap, not to health. The result reads closer to the truth, even when the truth is uncomfortable.
The App
The first version ran on a hosted no-code platform. We rebuilt it as our own Next.js app with a Postgres database, so we own the data, the design, and the roadmap. Along the way we added:
- Results that last: a private link to a one-page snapshot and a full breakdown with summaries, a formation plan, and a PDF download.
- Two honest pathways: "You're ready to build" leads to the Imprint Sprint, 90 minutes with KC and a written plan. "Your next step is formation, not output" leads to Brand Discipleship mentorship.
- A resources library: articles, practices, and prayers, filtered by pillar.
- CRM hand-off: every start and finish flows into our CRM, which sends the results email.
One App, Two Brands
The same tool serves two organizations. On our domain it wears the Legacy Co. look: black, gold, and bold uppercase type. For Bridge & Safehouse it becomes "Close the Gap," in a warm, earthy palette with its own calls to action. One codebase and one database, with the right brand chosen by the address a visitor arrives on.
Outcome
The assessment gives a founder language for something they have felt but couldn't name, and it does it in a few minutes, for free. People finish it, too: in our early pilot, 13 of the 14 people who started the assessment completed it. From there the path is clear: a Sprint if they are ready to build, mentorship if formation comes first, and a Formation Dashboard where they can keep working on their own time. For us, it puts the framework into people's hands before the first conversation, so every call starts with real insight instead of guesswork.
