Missioneering InstituteQuit Christianity
A bold faith brand that asked people to quit religion and find the real gospel, told through a book, an ebook, social, and video.

Quit Christianity was a ministry brand from Jacob William and the Missioneering Institute. The name was meant to stop you in your scroll. The idea behind it was simple: a lot of people have checked every church box and still feel empty, and the answer is not more religion. It is the gospel itself, lived out every day.
A message that bold needed content that could carry it. Legacy Co. made nearly all of it in-house: the content, the book design, the ebook, the social campaigns, the video series, and the promotion and marketing. Louder Agency developed the website.
What Is The Gospel?
Jacob's book, What Is The Gospel?, was the center of the campaign. We designed the cover in the brand's hot pink with a plain, loud title, plus the ePub cover and a full set of launch graphics:
- Book mockups for the site, the download thank-you page, and ads
- Sized posts for Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram Stories
- A website sidebar call to action and an email funnel for readers who downloaded the book
5 Reasons to Quit
Before the book, we wrote and designed a short ebook called 5 Reasons to Quit. It was a free download that gave new readers a first taste of the message, with moody, textured page spreads and a handwritten feel. It came with its own social posts and footer banners to drive sign-ups.
Experience the Real Gospel
In 2018 we made a video series called Experience the Real Gospel. Each short episode takes one common idea about faith and holds it up to the gospel: Belief, Behavior, Heaven and Hell, Prosperity, Evangelism, Worship, Church, and a "buffet" gospel where people pick only the parts they like. We used bold type, humor, and cinematic footage to keep each one moving, and we cut a vertical version of every episode for Instagram, with captions.
Social Campaigns
Instagram was the main stage. We planned the feed as a series of campaigns, each with its own look: a trailer launch, a "ransom note" teaser, a red illustrated map called "What a Long Strange Trip," and a brand relaunch. A weekly media punch list kept every post, story, and article promo on brand.
