Part 6: Rhythms of Life
Establishing rhythms for your daily, weekly, monthly, and annual life helps you put these principles into practice. These rhythms create a framework that supports a life centered on Jesus.
Sample Rhythms:
Daily: Morning and evening quiet times, meals with family, and time for rest.
Weekly: Sabbath rest, date nights, family activities, and church involvement.
Monthly: Personal retreats, extended family gatherings, and community service.
Annual: Vacations, spiritual retreats, and goal setting for the year.
By embracing these rhythms and practices, we can cultivate a life that is fully surrendered to following the way of Jesus Christ. A life where we are both present and aware, living in the peace and presence of God.
